Natters and I made the journey to the nearest yarn store. She was alseep before we got out of the street. It was closed. I need my Manos del Uruguay color 212!!!! I am working on a baby blanket of my own design and of course I didn't think the pattern through. It is small. Just a bit too small even for an infant that weighs 8lbs. My original pattern included a crochet border, that will now be a thicker and more prominent border. I know, I should have just pulled it out after the first row. I was in serious denial, but now about a foot in, every st whines a little. "tooooo smallllll" , "noooo one will love meeee", "so much for your hard work, someone's cat will be playing with me by October". I can't catch a break.

The mark of a good yarn store in the lives of Jennifer and Jennifer...crazy summer hours that we can't remember. I have the same problem with the yarn store in Norton...they're all out to get us.
