I LOVE to read these on other people's blogs. It is funny how people see themselves and choose what is most important to tell others.
These are in no particular order.
1. I was born in RI. I will move back someday. I am planning my attack.
2. I spend way too much time thinking of what I would do with a second chance. I am insanely obsessed with it.
3. For instance age 13, focus on dance, languages, math and patience. Boys are just girls with shorter hair. Keep this focus until age 20.
4. I married the guy I used to stare at and dream about. It actually turned out well. Surprize, surprize.
5. I like surprizes.
6. I offend people easily. I make inappropriate jokes and comments. Also, people get angry when you don't share their point of view. Live and let live!
7. I can't pretend to be anyone but ME! Although, I would like to be a waif-thin, yoga/pilates instructor, health-food hip chick. Then I wouldn't worry about type 2 diabetes and amputation.
8. I spend too much time thinking about co-morbidities. Heart disease, T2D, hypothyroidism, and the fast food binges that cause them.
9. I still can't believe I have a child that I love more than any other thing in the universe. Saying this, I am haunted by the Catholic guilt that demands God be your #1 love. Can't we have both?
10. My friends are awesome. Better than awesome. Quick someone think of another 80's superlative....
11. I had neither big hair nor wore neon colors in the 80's. I did, however, have the worst sense of style and have carried this legacy into my 30's. Raise your hands if you wore leg warmers to make your pants more tapered.... I once wore stirup pants with green arglye socks over the stirups. Just couldn't settle on preppy or guido.
12. If you don't know what guido is, then you didn't grow up in the Northeast in the 80's.
13. I am ambidexterous. No one cares. No interest at all.
14. Finally, I like my face. It is mine and I think it is beautiful. If you think any less of yours, get over it.
